Restorative Justice Programme
Community Panel Members
Turnaround Waimakariri is a court based
Restorative Justice Programme in North
The programme has suitable cases referred to it
from the Rangiora District Court and the process
has a central focus on meeting the needs of the
victim. An important part of the restorative justice
process is the participation of community panel
members who attend the meetings.
Expressions of interest are being sought for
suitable Volunteer Panellists
We are interested in hearing from you if you have
involvement in the following fields:
• Social Service / Justice Sectors
• Community Outreach
• Family Violence networks
• Multicultural networks
• Youth / Elderly / Victims of crime
The time commitments of panellists are from
three to five hours on approximately six to ten
occasions during the year. Panels maybe held
during the day, evenings or weekends depending
on the victim s needs.

OF SUBMISSIONS AND THE CALL FOR
FURTHER SUBMISSIONS TO:
PROPOSED PRIVATE PLAN CHANGE P022

The Waimakariri District Council has available a
summary of all decisions requested by persons
making submissions to proposed Private Plan
Change 22 to the Waimakariri District Plan.
The summaries of decisions requested can be
inspected at the Council's offices and libraries at:
• Rangiora Service Centre, 215 High St, Rangiora
• Rangiora Library, 141 Percival St, Rangiora
• Kaiapoi Service Centre, 24 Sewell St, Kaiapoi
• Kaiapoi Library, 9 Cass St, Kaiapoi (entrance
off Davie Street)
• Oxford Service Centre, 34 Main St, Oxford
A full copy of the submissions can be inspected at
the Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Oxford Service Centres,
and the Rangiora and Kaiapoi Libraries. A copy can
also be viewed online at www.waimakariri.govt.nz
Any person may make a Further Submission to the
Waimakariri District Council, in the prescribed
form (Form 6 of the Resource Management
Regulations 2003). The Further Submission can only
be in support of or in opposition to a submission
already made. A copy of the Further Submission
form is available from any of the addresses listed
above, or from www.waimakariri.govt.nz.
Further Submissions must be served on the
Waimakariri District Council by post to Private Bag
1005, Rangiora; or delivered to the Rangiora
Service Centre at 215 High Street, Rangiora;
Kaiapoi Service Centre at 24 Sewell Street, Kaiapoi
or Oxford Service Centre at 34 Main Street,
Further Submissions will be accepted by fax (if
legible and received before the closing time) on (03)
313 4432, or may be lodged on line via the Council's
Further Submissions must be received by the
Council by 5.00 p.m. Friday, 13 September 2013.
Note: The person making the Further Submission
must, within 5 working days after lodging the
submission, serve a copy of the Further Submission
on the person who made the submission to which
the further submission relates.
