Why put rubbish in your recycling bin?
We understand that some parts of NO! might be difficult
to understand for some people. We're still finding a few
things in some bins that shouldn't be in there, so we'll
explain a little bit more:
A big NO! to tyres and wheels from anything (like wheel
barrows, motorbikes, prams, cars, trucks)
NO! way will we take carpet, blankets, woven plastic
sacks or other large plastic sheeting
And never, not any, NO! nappies!
So what can you put in the recycling bin?
If in doubt -- check it out -- www.waimakariri.govt.nz
Anything else -- will just stay in your recycling bin along with
the rest of your recycling ... uncollected. Thanks for your help
in keeping it clean when you:
