Staying Safe - Driving for Mature Drivers
Free refresher courses for older drivers are being held in

OF SUBMISSIONS AND THE CALL FOR
PROPOSED PRIVATE PLAN CHANGE P020

The Waimakariri District Council has available a
summary of all decisions requested by persons
making submissions to proposed Private Plan
Change 20 to the Waimakariri District Plan.
The summaries of decisions requested can be
inspected at the Council's offices and libraries at:
Rangiora Service Centre, 215 High Street Rangiora
Rangiora Library, 141 Percival Street Rangiora
Kaiapoi Service Centre, 24 Sewell Street Kaiapoi,
Kaiapoi Library, 9 Cass Street Kaiapoi (entrance off
Davie Street) Oxford Service Centre, 34 Main
A full copy of the submissions can be inspected at
the Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Oxford Service Centres,
and the Rangiora and Kaiapoi Libraries. A copy can
also be viewed at www.waimakariri.govt.nz.
Further Submissions may be lodged with the
Waimakariri District Council, in the prescribed
form (Form 6 of the Resource Management
Regulations 2003), by the following:
(a) Any person representing a relevant aspect of
the public interest; and
(b) Any person that has an interest in the plan
change greater than the interest that the
general public has; and
(c) The local authority itself.
Any Further Submission can only be in support of
or in opposition to a submission already made. A
copy of the Further Submission form is available
from any of the addresses listed above, or from
Further Submissions must be served on the
Waimakariri District Council by post to Private Bag
1005, Rangiora; or delivered to the Rangiora
Service Centre at 215 High Street, Rangiora;
Kaiapoi Service Centre at 24 Sewell Street, Kaiapoi
or Oxford Service Centre at 34 Main Street,
Further Submissions will be accepted by fax (if
legible and received before the closing time) on
(03) 313 4432, or may be lodged via the Council's
Further Submissions must be received by the
Council by 5.00 p.m. Monday, 11 February 2013.
Note: The person making the Further Submission
must, within 5 working days after lodging the
submission, serve a copy of the Further Submission
on the person who made the submission to which
the further submission relates.

Over the next several weeks, MainPower will be
carrying out aerial thermographic surveys of a
number of its major distribution overhead lines in
the Southbrook to Swannanoa and Culverden to

gramme, this work requires use of an infra red
camera from within a helicopter flying at low level
close to the distribution line.
Please note there will be no loss of electricity
supply as each line is kept alive while the survey
