COUNCIL'S KERBSIDE REFUSE
AND RECYCLING COLLECTION
No Change to Council's Refuse and Recycling Services
on Labour Weekend: - 20 to 22 October 2012
Labour Day Monday 22 October:
Kerbside rubbish collections will be carried out on Monday as usual to:
Residential and commercial properties in Oxford, Cust, Woodend,
Pegasus, and the entire Northern Rural Collection Area -- both sides
of Rangiora-Woodend Road, Golf Links Road, SH1/Main North Road
north of Woodend, Waikuku, Waikuku Beach Road, Waikuku Beach,
Kerbside recycling Week 2 collections will be carried out on Monday as usual to:
Residential and commercial properties in Pegasus, 'northern'
Woodend, and the Week 2 Northern Rural Collection Area -- SH1/
Main North Rd north of Woodend, Waikuku, Waikuku Beach Road,
Waikuku Beach, and Sefton.
Please remember only "official" Waimakariri District Council refuse
bags and recycling wheelie bins will be collected. Refuse bags and
recycling wheelie bins must be placed for collection by 7am, and
please note that collection times may vary during the holiday period.
Please contact the Council on 311 8900 if any problems occur with
your refuse or recycling collection during this period. If you're unsure
which week your recycling is to be collected, please check the
label on the side of your bin.

Members of the public are advised that the following roads will be
temporarily closed to all motor vehicles for the period shown during
the Kaiapoi Carnival and Santa Parade on Saturday, 1 December
ROADS TO BE CLOSED
1 Raven Quay from Rich street to Mafeking foot bridge - Time of
Closure between 7.00am and 4pm, for the purpose of the Market
Day and Santa Parade.
2 Raven Quay west from Rich street to Williams Street. - Time of
closure between 12.30pm to 2.30pm for the Santa parade
3 Hilton Street from Bowler Street to Kaiapoi Borough School. -
Time of closure between 12.30pm and 2.30pm for the purpose of
the Santa Parade.
4 All of Rich Street and Black Street from Hilton Street to Raven
Quay. - Time of Closure between 12.30pm to 2.30pm, for the
purpose of the Santa Parade.
5 Williams Street from Fuller Street to Raven Quay. - Time of
closure between 12.30pm and 2.30pm for the purpose of the
